Sarasota County Fire Department Receives $20,000 Grant. The Sarasota County Fire Department is receiving $20,000 from Fireman’s Fund to purchase smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher training system that will be used to teach local residents how to safely and effectively use fire extinguishers.
